HYT Engineering Company Pvt. Ltd. has made a name for itself in averting these catastrophes to a large extent.HYT was established in the year 1977 with an aim to manufacture high precision, heavy duty Special Purpose Machines. Development with in house technological efforts is the motto. HYT has successfully developed and manufactured entire range of machines for the re-habilitation of traction motor and generation armature as well as stators, like Universal Multipurpose Armature Machine, Automatic Mica Undercutting Machine, Automatic Tig Welding Machine, Armature Banding Lathe, Commutator Seasoning Plant, Duplex head boring & Pole Seat Milling Machine etc. More than 150 armature & stators re- habilitation machines are supplied and are being used.

With experience of successful development and manufacturing of above machines, HYT entered into the machines required for Railway Wheel Shop. We have successfully developed and manufactured Surface Wheel Lathe in NON-CNC and CNC version, Under Floor Wheel Lathes in NON-CNC and CNC version, Axle Journal Turning and Burnishing Lathe, Vertical Turret Lathe in NON-CNC and CNC version.

HYT has supplied 19 machines required for the New Wheel Manufacturing Project being set up by Indian Railway. Many of these machines are turnkey solutions equipped with state of art wheel handling arrangement. Many of these machines are used for hot wheel processing at temperature of 600 Deg C to 400 Deg. C.

HYT has also entered into the field of fully Automatic Coach Washing Plant.

HYT has also re-furbished and upgraded the machining and welding stations required for submarine manufacturing. Machining and welding stations were re-habilitated to regain original productivity and accuracy. Welding technology was changed from SAW to MIG/MAG. All the stations were qualified to International Norms to meet submarine manufacturing process to stringent norms.

Infrastructure

HYT has 6200 sq. meters of manufacturing space having heavy duty and precision manufacturing facilities with more than 600 trained manpower. We are adding 6250 sq. meters ultra modern new manufacturing space shortly..HYT is located at Pune which is a heavy and automobile industry hub of India. Variety of specialized manufacturing and infrastructure facilities are available within a distance of 50 Km.
